
Ohimegye receives NEW KOGI STATE RESIDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER, Dr. Oliver Tersoo Agundu and his team in his palace.

In a significant gesture of respect and tradition, His Royal Majesty Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, the revered Ohimegye of Igu Koton-Karfe Kingdom, warmly welcomed Dr. Oliver Tersoo Agundu, the newly appointed Kogi State Resident Electoral Commissioner, and his team to his palace. The purpose of their visit was twofold: to pay their respects and seek the royal blessing and guidance for the critical role that Dr. Agundu is about to undertake.

During the audience, which took place in the early hours of the day, His Royal Majesty offered words of wisdom and cautioned Dr. Agundu against compromising his office. He emphasized the importance of accountability and integrity, reminding him that every action taken under his watch would be scrutinized. The monarch also highlighted the high expectations from the public and encouraged Dr. Agundu to prioritize God in his decisions, assuring him that this would be the foundation for a successful tenure.
