As Gov. Ododo restores dignity of primary school teachers pays leave bonuses

For over two decades primary school teachers in Kogi state were made to stare at the unpopular statement that oddly says their “reward is in heaven.” These ugly scenario in their career has led to low productivity in public primary schools in the state.
The preference of parents for private schools for their children and wards is because they are not comfortable with the state of affairs in most public schools. At a point it appeared as if the children of the poor who are of the vast majority are left to contend with the poor services in public schools. This of course is not good for a state like Kogi which draws its pride in education. But thank God that today His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is positively fixing the dearth of infrastructure in public primary schools in the state and also catering for the welfare of teachers in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the state.
The coming to power of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has positively turn things around in all sectors of Kogi state development.
Governor Ododo is an all rounder. Please permit the coinage. The governor on assumption of office tackled the payment of the full salaries of Local Government workers. Today Local Government workers carry out their official functions with joy because His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is now paying their monthly full salaries. Kudos to the peoples governor.
In the education sector, the governor has been paying the West African Examination Council (WAEC) fee for all the students in public schools. Students from poor homes no longer have sleepless nights in their final years especially when it comes to the payment of WAEC fees.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo also moved to tertiary institutions and paid over eight billion naira for the provision of educational infrastructure at Kogi state University Kabba. Today the university is moving speedily in providing quality education to its students.At Confluence State University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara and Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has tremendously improved educational infrastructure.
On security, the governor provided vehicles to all the federal security formations and also provided them with the needed logistics to keep carrying out their duties. Today security has improved greatly in the state.
On agriculture, the governor has continued to provide the basic farming incentives to the farmers in the state. About a week ago the governor provided truck loads of fertilizers to the farmers across the three senatorial districts of the state. Kogi will be one of the leading states this year with a bumper agricultural harvest courtesy of the peoples governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
What’s more, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo paid the new minimum wage to the entire Kogi workers at the state and Local Government levels. Today Kogi state is outstanding in terms of the welfare of workers in the country.
For some years Kogi workers at the state and Local Government levels have not been receiving their yearly leave bonuses. The coming to power of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo marks the restoration of hope for Kogi workers and the entire citizens of the state.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a promise keeper. He is one of the rare leader of our time who presides over the affairs of the state with the most utmost fear of Allah. His leadership has brought unity, joy and peace among the entire citizens of Kogi State.
The payment of leave bonuses to the state primary school teachers and Local Government workers is a great milestone in the leadership of Kogi State.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a great leader. He is ever humble crumbling the walls of tribalism and disunity in the state. The governor is a true leader sent by Allah to restore full hope to Kogi citizens.
As His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo continues to labour in providing the dividends of democracy to the entire citizens of the state, he deserves the support of all for a second term in office come 2027.
FOR GOVERNOR ODODO, ONE GOOD TERM DESERVES ANOTHER.
