KOSIEC Celebrates Hon. Eri’s National Election as FOSIECON Chairman

The management and
staff of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) on Monday held a warm reception at the Commission’s headquarters in Lokoja to celebrate the election of Hon. Mamman Nda Eri as the National Chairman of the Forum of State Independent Electoral Commissions of Nigeria (FOSIECON).
The event, which drew management and staff of the Commission, was marked by tributes and commendations for Hon. Eri, who was recently elected to the prestigious national role. The Staff described his appointment as well-deserved, citing his dedication to duty, exemplary leadership, and outstanding service to the Commission.
In his remarks, Hon. Eri expressed surprise and deep gratitude for the gesture. He explained that the position of FOSIECON Chairman was zoned to the North Central region, and he was nominated and elected by the collective confidence of SIEC Chairmen across the country. He thanked them for the trust reposed in him.
Speaking at the event, the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr. Lawrence Fatimehin, praised Hon. Eri’s resilience and integrity, attributing his elevation to those exceptional qualities. He lauded Eri’s generosity and urged him to remain consistent in his good deeds.
The Director of Administration, Mrs. Jummai Yusuf, described the appointment as a significant milestone not only for Hon. Eri but also for KOSIEC and the entire Kogi State. She offered prayers for continued progress in his career.
Also speaking, the Commission’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Modupe Adegboro, highlighted Hon. Eri’s positive relationship with staff and his inclusive leadership style, which she said had fostered loyalty and a spirit of unity within the Commission. She also prayed for greater success in his new role.
