Alhaji Abubakar Zakeri Ola bags Outstanding Supporter of the Vulnerable Award  2024.

Alhaji Abubakar Zakeri Ola, has bagged Kogi Outstanding Supporter of the Vulnerable Award 2024.

The award is in his outstanding Support for the Vulnerable in Lokoja LGA, Kogi State.

The award will be presented tomorrow to Alhaji Zakeri as part of the 2025 The Nigerian Post Newspaper in conjunction with the Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre Calabar Humanitarian Award.

In his remarks, the Editor in Chief The Nigerian Post Newspaper and Registrar Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre Calabar Lokoja Chapter, Mr. Abu Michael, said the award is in recognition of Alhaji Zakeri contributions and positive impact to the society, particularly with emphasis to his contribution to supporting the vulnerable.

The Editor in Chief lauded his positive impact in supporting widows, women and other welfare packages that has helped in improving the living standards of the less privileged, pointing out that the philanthropists stands out as most impactful in putting smiles on the faces of the people amongst individuals in the State.

The Editor in Chief lauded the positive impact made by Alhaji Zakeri in the areas of empowerment, education, schemes for Youths and women, added that he he has personally and through other intervention provided succour in his local Government.

Making their separate remarks, the Commissioner of Police, who was Represented by ACP Idris Mohammed, the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof Salisu Usman Ogbo and the Director General Protocol, Government House, Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim and others during the 27th May occasion, described Alhaji Zakeri, as a gift to the people of Kogi State as a whole.
