“You will recall that the national leadership of SSANU lead Comrade Haruna Ibrahim wrote a protest letter to the office of accountants General for the Federation and copied the Education and labour Ministry on the need for the government proactiveness to pay workers wage/salary promptly”.

“This delay in salary has been consistent since tertiary institutions left IPPIS last year November, 2025. Since then, workers salary in the universities has always been paid in the second week of another month”.

“Imagine today is 5th of June and tomorrow is Salah, no salary. How do we explain this to our families. This is not fair, unjust and we will not take it anymore”.
