ODODO ON THE MATCH AGAIN – Pays leave bonuses to workers after over 11 years lull

What more can I say of my leader, mentor, pacesetter, a political juggernaut and Kogi’s masses delight? His Excellency, the servant of the masses, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has once again proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is a listener and an action oriented Allah- fearing leader.
What? The news of Kogi State government paying the 2025 leave bonuses to civil servants of Kogi State hits the workers in the state with utmost disbelief. This is so as every efforts by the Labour Union in the state for over eleven years for leave bonuses to be paid to workers proved abortive.
His Predecessor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who would have paid leave bonuses unfortunately assumed office in 2016 at a time the entire country was witnessing serious economic melt down. In his wisdom he contributed immensely in ensuring that a dogged political whiz kid in person of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo takes over from him to continue and consolidate on his vision of welfarism for the good people of Kogi State.
As can be seen, His Excellency, the former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello made the right decision in ensuring versatile political continuity in office. The good things of life that Kogi people are witnessing today from the noble administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is the very best omen of the good will of his predecessor in office, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
No doubt, Kogi State workers were agog with the positive news of the payment of their leave bonus. Prayers for sound health and continued success in office from Kogi State workers rented the air for His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the leave bonus allowances trickled into their various accounts.
The payment of the leave bonus could be likened to a rain in a drought prone zone. The drought has been in place for years alas all of a sudden and at time least expected, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo decided to pay the leave bonus allowances to Kogi State workers.
Come to think of it, workers in Kogi State have every cause to be grateful to Allah and the good leadership of His Excellency, the Chief Servant of Kogi, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. His Excellency was one of the first governor in the country to implement the new minimum wage of #70,500 in the state. He didn’t only implement the new minimum wage for Kogi workers but also gave two years tax waiver for Kogi workers. What can a governor who has the love for his people do more than this?
On the part of the Pensioners in the state, the governor also added some amount of money to their monthly allowances to improve their monthly stipend. Today the Pensioners in the state remain grateful to the Peoples governor who has continued to touch their life directly since he assumed office on January 27, 2024.
While His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has achieved so many things especially in the area of health sector where he is improving primary health care facilities across the state, construction of township roads across the Local Government Area headquarters of the state, empowering the security architecture of the state, adequately funding the education sector, empowering the widows in the state etc etc, the state workers have every cause to say His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is Allah sent governor in whom they are well pleased.
Today the entire work force in Kogi State cannot thank His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo enough. The governor pays their salaries promptly and at festive seasons he pays their salaries as early as 14th – 16th of the particular month. Indeed, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is not only the Chief Servant of the state but the Chief first Civil servant of Kogi State. To Allah alone be the glory.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo does not believe in political rhetorics. His believe as a leader of the state is firmly rooted towards ACTION. Often people wake up to know of his actions at implementation stage. He does not make noise about what he can do but when his actions comes to manifestation he leaves no one in doubt as it often touches directly the lives of his people.
Kogi workers are happy, their dependants are more happier. This is all as result of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s unleashing a new lease of life on them.
Come light, come darkness, Kogi State workforce will ever stand with His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. No doubt the governor’s second term project is a done deal among Kogi State workforce and the entire citizens of Kogi State.
