Appreciating Sen. Karimi’s Representation, sustainable future development. (Part 1)

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi is the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District. That he is changing the game in Kogi West and striving towards effective representation to build a sustainable future is not in doubt.
Unlike what we’ve experienced in the past, Karimi is setting a new standards of representation, one rooted in action, accountability, and people-first service.
A glimpse at his impact so far shows that rather than play to the gallery and lose focus, he is forward looking and working for generations to come.
It is not in doubt that he engineered the repair of key roads like Kabba-Ilorin and Bunu-Iluke-Budon. It is the joy and pride of the people of Kogi West that the contractors have returned to site to complete the long abandoned, Kabba – Ilorin Road.
It is also a fact that his N100M scholarship scheme for 1,000 students has helped cushion the difficulties of many students and parents.
It is on records that he has built 75 solar-powered boreholes across communities, thus lighting hitherto communities and people living in darkness.
One must applaud the Senator for his rehabilitation of schools and on record to have constructed a 1,000-seat lecture hall. The GSSS Koton is a project that is work in progress, costing over N1.3b.
Undaunted, Senator Karimi donated N11M to support nursing education in Kogi West, this is in his thinking, will Complement the Brian drain in the health sector.
It was the talk of the town and Nigeria when Senator Karimi built and launch a military base in Egbe to fight insecurity. This is his personal contribution, adding to the fact that he is working with other socio cultural associations in chatting I’ma peaceful Kogi West.
In the area of empowerment, Sen. Karimi empowered 50 women cooperatives with N100M business fund. He rehabilitated the fish Market in Lokoja and empowered over 500 traders in Lokoja.
Without sounding immodest. Sen. Karimi water project is sinking and rehabilitating over 150 Borehole across Kogi West Senatorial District.
On the floor of the Senate, a key player, the Senator has sponsored key legislation promoting accountability, Kogi West to rise amongst comity of Senatorial Districts in Nigeria.
That Kogi West, has witnessed economic hub, significant transformation under his representation cannot be downplayed.
It is a fact that no representation in Kogi West is doing food palliatives and Empowerment as is being done by Sen Karimi.
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has no doubt played a crucial role in shaping policies that address the senatorial pressing challenges. This is seen from his education and infrastructure to security and human development.
His representation has been one that defines commitment, innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth. What is more gainful is his accessibility and availability to listen and meet with the people.
What Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi has done in his few months in office, simply fills the yawning leadership vacuum in Kogi West. This aptly calls to mind the why sustainability.
As Kogi West continues to grow, ensuring security and maintaining law and order which no doubt remains his top priority. Senator Sunday Karimi’s, Forward Operating Base (Army Barrack) in Egbe, equipping security agencies with patrol vehicles, communication gadgets, and surveillance equipment to enhance policing should bring to mind his concern for the people.
Sen. Karimi has established himself as a transformative leader with a vision for a modern, efficient, and prosperous Kogi West. Another term of consolidation by the several sincere endorsement is therefore a welcome development.
His continued representation remains crucial in navigating challenges and unlocking new opportunities for constituents. The reward for hardwork is more work comes to mind when a people representative like Sen. Karimi is mentioned.
His strategic focus and dedication, is undoubtedly steering Kogi West towards a brighter and more sustainable future calls for more support.
This is the reason why despite the naysayers, but looking at his impact, another term will help in consolidating Kogi West Senatorial District for sustained development.
