
Easter: ANAN Kogi Chapter tasks Christians to reflect on lessons of the Season.

The Kogi State Chairman, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has urge Christians to reflect on the reason of this year’s Easter to foster Unity and peace in the Country.
In a statement issued to Newsmen and signed by Ahmed Tijani Oricha, he extended his warm greetings to all Christian faithful in the state, describing Easter as a season that embodies the profound values of sacrifice, hope, love, and renewal.
He noted that the resurrection of Christ is not only the cornerstone of the Christian faith but also a powerful reminder of the triumph of light over darkness and life over death.
While he congratulated ANAN members for witnessing yet another Easter, enjoined members to use the period to pray for the peace of the State and Nigeria as a whole.
“Easter is a powerful reminder of faith and the grace that comes with perseverance, even in the face of adversity.
He urged the state Professional Accountants to draw inspiration from this season to renew their commitment to selfless service, integrity, and unity needed for the overall development of the state.
He also called on all citizens to use the Easter celebration as an opportunity to reflect on their roles as custodians of public trust and to recommit themselves to the service of their fatherland.
The Chairman on behalf of ANAN wished Christians and the entire people of the state a joyful and peaceful celebration and prayed that the season would bring renewed strength, spiritual upliftment, and enduring peace to all homes and communities across the state.
He further congratulated Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Comr. Joel Oyibo Salifu, on the celebration of the 2025 Easter, wished them success in their administration.
