Sen. Ohere’s comprehensive reform that would have benefited constituents, Nigeria at large! Court why?

It will continue to remain a mixture of feelings for the people of Kogi Central.
This is juxtaposed in an opinion sample carried out by Sigma Communication Ltd where constituents of Kogi Central lamented that the very comprehensive reforms as encompassed in the bills sponsored by Sen Ohere Sadiq Abubakar.
The several opinions points to the fact that the outcome would have benefited constituents and Nigeria at large if the landmark bills sponsored by Sen. Ohere Sadiku Abubakar was seen to conclusion.
Constituents pointed out that if Sen. Ohere’s people oriented and development bills had scaled all the stages, the impact would have been a blessing for Kogi Central, the State and Nigeria as a whole, wondered, why the Court?
One of such bill was the National Oil and Gas Industry and Content Development Act, repeal and enactment bill 2023.
Similarly the efforts by Sen. Ohere to seek that since all major roads passing through the State are Federal roads, he made effort using the aspect of legislation to compel the Federal Government to come work on roads in the State.
In the words of Sen. Ohere: ” Major roads passing through Kogi are federal roads. We understand the paucity of funds and wish to say we will not relent but express our concern. We therefore trying and seeking to use this bill, using the aspect of legislation, compel the Federal government to come and work in the State”.
The people of Kogi Central will no doubt continue to reminiscing on those outstanding bills made by Sen. Ohere Sadiku Abubakar when he served in the Senate.
