Indigenes of Omala LGA working in the Kogi State House of Assembly, have honoured the Lawmaker Representing Omala State Constituency, Hon. Umar Yahaya aka Connect for his outstanding contribution on the floor of the House and in his ability to attract development to his Constituency.
The Omala indigenes while presenting him with an award of Excellence, described Hon. Umar Yahaya, as an enigma, praised him for affectionately showing concern for the development of the people.
The workers praised Hon. Umar’s commitment to progress said he has in no small measure through effective representation connected Omala State Constituency with his Development representation.
The workers described Hon. Umar as a rare representative, said unlike past leaders and representatives, he has concentrated his passion on human capital development.
The constituents expressed satisfaction with the tangible results thus far from Hon. Umar Yahaya’s representation, expressed optimism that he is a Lawmaker for all seasons and a work in progress for Omala LGA and for the Federal Constituency.
The Omala indigenes lauded Hon. Umar’s human and capital development projects, praised his balanced approach representation, aimed at ensuring that the people of the Constituency benefit from his laudable Initiatives.
The workers commended the notable projects Hon. Umar is executing, particularly mentioned his ongoing construction of a hospital in Ogudo Community, adding that the anticipated project when completed will serve not only Ogudo but also neighboring villages, enhance healthcare access for many in the region.
The workers commended the clear vision for progress of Hon. Umar, said his ability to connect with the yearning and aspirations of his constituents has rekindled the people’s confidence in the nation’s democracy.
The workers urged Hon. Umar to continue to show genuine care for the people he serves, predicted that with his early steps in effective representation, added to his long time impact in the socio economic development of the people of the Constituency, makes him the man of the people.
The workers called on the people of the Constituency to continue to rally support for Hon. Umar, pointing out that he has by dint of hardwork, sincerity, quality representation, earned a vote of confidence of the people of Omala State Constituency.
In his remarks, Hon. Umar dedicated the recognition to the people of Omala State Constituency, said his politics and representation would remain about the people.
He assured that more human capital development initiative that would change the sad narrative of representation from the area is on the way, solicited for their patience and understanding.
