Kabba APC Stakeholders Adopt Chief Benjamin Olowodola as Chairman Elders Council
…. Endorses Gov. Ododo, Sole APC Governorship Candidate For 2027.
The All Progressives Congress in Kabba, Kabba Bunu LGA of Kogi State, have adopted Chief Benjamin Olowodola as the Chairman, Elders Council for Kabba in APC.
Similarly, the APC in Kabba, have endorsed Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo as the APC sole candidate for the 2027 Governorship candidate for the State APC.
The decision by the APC Kabba stakeholders was reached at a meeting convened by the Council Chairman, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, at a meeting held at Lisa Palm Hotel, Kabba on the 11th April, 2025.
The meeting which had all the APC stakeholders in Kabba, Owe Kingdom, adopted Chief Benjamin Olowodola as the Chairman, Elders Council of APC in Kabba.
In a motion moved by Hon. Funsho Oni, aka Chop Chop, received a unanimous voice votes of all the stakeholders, adopted the Chairmanship of Chief Benjamin Olowodola as Elders Council Chairman of APC in Kabba.
The stakeholders also passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his governance, developmental strides and leadership style within his short stay in office, adopted him as their sole candidate.
The stakeholders by the decision assured Gov. Ododo that no Kabba son or daughter will aspire the Governorship election in 2027, urged any interested persons to wait till 2031, after expiration of the second tenure of Gov. Ododo.
The stakeholders said no Kabba son will be allowed to contest with Gov. Ododo, assured that they will take the sole candidate evangelism to all the five Local Government Areas of Okun land and other parts of the State to preach and appeal to other persons to allow Gov. Ododo contest as the APC sole candidate in view of his landmark developmental strides across the State.
The Convener of the meeting, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael expressed Commendation for the stakeholders, pointing out that anybody against Gov. Ododo is against performance, assured that the Chief Benjamin Olowodola’s leadership will drive an appeal to all of Okun Local Government on the need for any Okun son to contest against him.
