
Former House of Rep Member, Dr Tom Zakari describes death of former Kogi Deputy Governor, Chief Patrick Adaba as a colossal loss

A former member of House of Representatives for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Dr Tom Zakari has described the death of Chief Patrick Adaba, a former Deputy Governor of Kogi State as a great loss to the nation.

In a condolence message, Dr Tom Zakari noted that the deceased was a detribalized political leader who laid worthy legacies while he served.
He particularly noted that Chief Patrick Adaba remained one of the most hard working Deputy Governors who contributed immensely not only to the advancement of Kogi State, but Nigeria at large.
According to Dr Tom Zakari who was also a former Managing Director/CEO of Kogi Savings and Loans Limited when the deceased was serving as Deputy Governor, the late Deputy Governor earned his integrity having made his marks on the national scene.
He explained that the late Deputy Governor will be missed greatly by Nigerians, particularly the people of Kogi State and the Ebira nation as a people.
The former lawmaker commiserated with the government and people of the State over the painful loss, urging the family to be consoled by the fact that late Chief Patrick Adaba lived a fulfilled life.
Dr Tom Zakari however appealed to the Kogi State government, to as a matter of necessity, immortalize the late Deputy Governor by naming one of the State critical institutions after him.
