NYCN @ 60: Lounge 1 Emerges leading hospitality, Relaxation Outfit Award in Kogi.
The Youths of Kogi State, under the aegis of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, have conferred It highest award on the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Lounge 1 Entertainment Hub, Hon. Paul Ukwenya.
Lounge 1 is a leading hospitality, relaxation and entertainment outfit located in the heart of Lokoja, is reputed for it serene environment, laced with adequate security.
The convergence of opinions by Youths of Kogi State at the National Youth Council 60th anniversary said Lounge 1, remains the best place to be.
The opinion was not just that of the Youths alone, others in the older demography said as a leading hospitality place, Lounge 1, affords them a place to unwind after a hard day’s work
Speaking at the occasion before the presentation of the award to Hon. Paul Ukwenya, MD Lounge 1, the Kogi State Commissioner For Youth and Sports, urged Lounge 1 to sustain the feat that has made it a leading hospitality brand in the State.
He commended Lounge 1 for the Serene environment that the relaxation joint provides to the people of Lokoja, assured that the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo will continue to make the tourism sector a veritable place.
He also added that Lounge 1 provides a home away from home for fun seekers, adding that it is located in the heart of the State capital with maximum comfort.
He praised Lounge 1 for also carrying out corporate social responsibilities for it immediate community, assisting the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.
Speaking at the occasion, Comr. Ben Jerry, Kogi State Chairman, NYCN, described Lounge 1 as a trailblazer in the hospitality and relaxation business in the State, praised the MD/CEO for creating employment opportunities for teeming youths of the State.
In his remarks, Hon. Paul Ukwenya, MD CEO Lounge 1, assured of quality service delivery to the people of the State in the new year, added that the outfit will strive to continue to provide quality services for residents to unwind after a hard day’s work.
The event took place at the Youth House Lokoja, had Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo, represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development as the Special Guest of Honour.
The NYCN at 60 celebration in Kogi State was chaired by Hon. Yahaya Umar, Member, Representing, Omala State Constituency in the Assembly.
