Christmas: Provost CoET Mopamuro Felicitates With Christians.
The Provost, College of Education Technical, Mopa Mopamuro, Mrs. Victoria Jagboro has sent a message of felicitations to Christians and members of the College Community on the occasion of 2024 Christmas.
In a goodwill message issued to Newsmen, the Provost rejoiced with Kogites, particularly members of the College Community, the Government and people of Kogi State, particularly people of Mopamuro for witnessing another Christmas celebration which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Provost urged for the use of the joyous occasion to pray for leaders at all levels and for the peace, progress and socio-economic development of the State and Country at large.
She stressed the need for peaceful coexistence between and among Kogites, irrespective of ethnic or religious leanings.
The Provost urged citizens to be guided by the lessons of the Christmas season, which she stressed is anchored on love, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.
“Irrespective of our religious affiliations, we can draw immense strength and inspiration from the enduring legacies of the life of Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life for the redemption of our souls,” she said
She wished Christians God’s guidance and abundant blessings embedded in the festive season as they celebrate another important milestone of high spiritual import.
She called for support for the administration of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo said, “ We have no other State to call our home, other than Kogi State, reason why praying for and working with our leaders remains the panacea to overcoming our challenges”.
The Provost, on behalf of the Management, Staff and Students, College of Education Technical Mopa, congratulated Christians for witnessing yet another Christmas, prayed for many more celebration in good health and prosperity.
