Senator Natasha secures job for constituent after public plea

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has secured employment for a constituent, Jafaru Adavize Muhammed, after a public plea.

Adavize, a graduate of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, had made a public appeal in August 2024, responding to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s announcement of job slots for young graduates from her constituency.

Despite graduating several years ago without securing employment, Adavize has been offered a permanent job at AirPeace and has resumed work.

In a heartfelt message, he expressed his deepest gratitude to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, describing the job as a life-changing opportunity.

“Words cannot fully convey how much I value and cherish this position. I am endlessly appreciative of your support, belief in my potential, and the effort you put into helping me.

“I am fully aware of the effort, influence, and care that went into making this possible, and I am humbled by your dedication to uplifting others.

“Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for changing my life in such a meaningful way. I am committed to making the most of it and upholding the trust you have placed in me,” he said.

Reacting, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan advised Adavize to remain focused and diligent in his new role, building a successful career while upholding the trust placed in him. She reiterated her commitment to creating more employment opportunities for her constituents.

This is not the first time Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has intervened to secure jobs for her constituents. Her efforts have previously resulted in federal government jobs for graduates and employment opportunities at reputable organisations.
