
Achuba congratulates Muslims on Eid El Maulud

The former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba has congratulated Muslim faithfuls across the country as they celebrate this year’s Eid el Maulud festival.
Achuba in a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester, described Eid el Maulud as a significant occasion that marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and serves as a reminder of his exemplary life, teachings, and the virtues of Islam which he said are peace, love, and brotherhood.
He emphasized the importance of fostering an atmosphere of harmony, understanding, and mutual respect among people of all faiths in Nigeria.
The former Deputy Governor said, “I urge all Muslim Ummah to reflect on the Prophet’s message of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.”
Achuba also called on the Muslim community in Kogi state to use this period of celebration to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the State and Nigeria as a whole, even as he enjoined them to extend their hands of fellowship to the needy and vulnerable in the society.
He wished the Muslim Ummah a joyous and blessed Eid el Maulud celebration, saying, “It is also my prayer that this occasion brings about renewed commitment to the ideals of Islam and contributes to the overall well-being of our dear state and nation.”
