Kogi Governorship: Geemony Expresses Confidence of Ododo’s Victory
… Says the affirmation will be the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kogi State.
Mall. Abudulganiyu Badamasuiy, Chief Executive Officer, Geemony Global Kleaners, has expressed confidence in the nations judiciary that it will affirm the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kogi State as overwhelmingly displayed in the last November Governorship election.
Geemony as he is fondly called made the appeal in Abuja shortly after the Supreme Court reserved judgment on the Kogi Governorship, insisting that the overwhelming votes of the APC is a justification to the outstanding achievements the state is witnessing since Gov. Ododo assumed office in January.
Geemony who was at the premises of the Supreme Court expressed optimism of victory, pointing out that the victory would enable the State witnessed unprecedented development.
” We are optimistic of victory going by the fact of the matter. The people came out enmass to overwhelmingly vote for the APC and Ododo. So going by the evidence available and presented to the Supreme Court, just like the Tribunal and Appeal Court, I’m optimistic that Gov. Ododo will again because his mandate is divine and made possible by the people”.
He described Gov. Ododo as God sent for the people of the State, commended his grassroots politics, as one that is having direct bearing on the lives of the people.
He described the cleanliness and beautification of the State as made possible by Gov Ododo as one that calls for commendation, assured that the agency will continue to do the best in maintaining a clean environment as envisioned by the administration of Gov Ododo.
Geemony called for the people to unit behind the present administration in the State, insisting that the coming of Gov Ododo as Governor is the best thing that has happened to the State development.
