Members of the Christian Northern Nigerian Political Forum have called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu not to forget the role they played during the last Presidential election, pointing out that they have been abandoned.
A Member of the forum, Hon. Ibrahim Itodo in a statement issued to Newsmen, recounted the numerous roles members of the forum played in dousing the Moslem Moslem Presidential ticket before the 2023 Presidential election.
He noted that surprisingly after a year of assumption of office some members of the group have been forgotten, called on the wife of the President, Sen. Remi Tinubu to intervene.
He urged the President’s wife to recall the summit held in her honour by the Forum in Kaduna and the promised she made to Members of Christian Northern Nigerian Political Forum.
Hon. Itodo pointed out that at the risk of their lives, Members campaigned seriously for the President and his Vice, but lamented that they have been abandoned one year after.
Hon. Itodo called on the wife of the President to remember the forum as a way of rewarding hardwork and to also keep to the promise she made in Kaduna to reward members.
