AMB. MARYAM CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR USMAN ODODO OVER APPEAL VICTORY.
The Idah Local Government Coordinator of the Progressive Empowerment Project for Nigeria Women(PEP4NW), Amb. Abdulazeez Hope Maryam has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State. His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his resounding victory from the apellete court, reinstated his position as declared by the Independent National Electorial Commission in the just concluded November 2023 Kogi State Gubernatorial Election.
Amb. Maryam has called on all the well meaning kogites to rally behind Gov. Usman Ododo and his deputy, Joel Oyibo and support them to actualize the Kogi of our dream.
She equally noted that this today’s victory is a victory for democracy, it is a victory for development and a victory for one Kogi State, therefore, advised we all dust our shoes and begins to mend wounds, as Ododo is here and here to stay.
Amb. Maryam has equally noted that His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s relentless efforts to making better the lives of people living in Kogi State is another fact to brag of his commitment to the primary responsibility as Governor, barely one year in office, Gov. Usman Ododo is busy setting the pace, as he has prioritized workers salary, security and infrastructure of which should be the primary responsibility of every state actors. She said His Excellency has refused to be distracted even though his been charged with unwarranted cases in the court of law, though God who is the original maker of a king has been vindicating him and will continue to be through for him.
Amb. Maryam once again, on behalf of all the members of the Progressive Empowerment Project for Nigeria Women and women of Kogi State extends her congratulations to His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
