Appeal Court Victory: NAKOSS Congratulates Gov. Ododo, Describes Victory As Victory For Kogi Students.
The National Association of Kogi State Students, NAKOSS, has congratulated Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo on his victory at the appeal court, pointing out that it is a confirmation of the wishes of the people.
The National President of NAKOSS, Dr. Jeremiah Elukpo made the disclosure shortly after the Appeal Court Victory that affirmed the Governorship election won by Gov Ododo.
The National President used the statement to call on the opposition Social Democratic Party to accept the verdict as the will of God, pointing out that from all indication, Gov. Ododo is fashioned and prepared to Govern the State in the present dispensation.
He described the victory as an affirmation that the good works begun by Gov. Ododo is speaking for him after his overwhelming victory at the last year’s November Governorship election.
While expressing his appreciation to the Appeal Court Justices for the painstaking and thorough judgement delivered, he pointed out that the Judiciary has really proven to be the last hope of the common man.
“On behalf of NAKOSS, we cannot but express the joy of our members that your administration that is students and Youths centred is reason for the overwhelming affirmation of the appeal court judgment”.
