Sen. Karimi Congratulates Governor Ododo on Appeal Court Victory
The Senator Representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Sen. Sunday Karimi has sent a message of congratulations to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo on his well deserved victory at the appeal court.
He described the appeal court victory as an affirmation that Gov. Ododo was lawfully elected.
” Your victory was never in doubt. You overwhelmingly triumphed at the polls. The people spoke in unison and today, the appeal court has reaffirmed the verdict of the people”.
In a statement, Sen. Karimi hailed the courage of the court’s decision, saying the painstaking judgment has justified the will of the people of Kogi State, who overwhelmingly voted for Governor Ododo.
He called on the aggrieved parties to join hands with Gov Ododo in moving the State forward, pointing out that the victory is for all.
Sen. Karimi praised Gov Ododo, pointing out that he has started well with the governance of the State, reason why Kogi State can now compete favourably with other states in terms of socio economic development.
