Kogi Govt to reactivate Anyigba water facility, as Commissioner assures lack of water will soon be over
The Kogi State Government has assured that the Water challenge facing Anyigba and it environs would soon be a thing of the past when the Anyigba water is reactivated.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Water Resources, Engr Yahaya MD Farouk gave the assurances after the visit and inspection of water facilities at the Eastern flank of the State with the visit to Anyigba water facility in Dekina LGA.
The Commissioner during the visit assured that the welfare and Interest of the people remains paramount to the administration of Gov. Ododo.
He said the present administration is doing everything possible to resuscitate all water facilities across the State.
He said after the inspection visit which seeks to see the challenges, with the view to preferring solution, assured that the Anyigba water facility will begin operation.
Highlights of the visit to Anyigba by the Commissioner was a stop over at the Palace of Ogohi Onu Anyigba. The Dekina LG Secretary accompanied the Commissioner on the visit.
