
Kogi Water Resources Commissioner Visits Idah Water Works, Reiterates Commitment of Gov Ododo to the Provision of Potable Water.

The Kogi State Government has reiterated it resolve in the resuscitation of the Idah Water Works.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Water Resources, Engr Yahaya MD Farouk made the disclosure during a visit to Idah Waterworks as well as when he paid homage to the Attah of Igala while on inspection tour of water facilities in the Eastern Senatorial District.

The Commissioner who was in company of the Honourable Commissioner, Culture & Tourism, Party Stalwarts like Alh. Friday Idachaba and Hon. Haruna Idoko Musa as well as the Chairman, Transition Committee, Idah LGA, said the present administration is committed to the provision of potable water to the citizens.
The Commissioner said the visit to Idah was to enable the government have a first hand information of the water facilities, assured that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring that potable water is delivered to the people.
He assured that soon as the audit report of the facility is ascertianed, assured that the present administration of Gov Ododo would do whatever is humanly needed towards that the Idah Water Works is revived for the people to get potable water.
The Commissioner paid glowing tribute to the Attah Igala, urged the people to continue to protect government infrastructure at their communities.
