Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Project Monitoring, Hon. John Urah Ikani has commended the Senator representing Kogi East at the National Assembly, Jibrin Isah Echocho for impacting positively on the lives of his people.
Hon John Urah Ikani gave the commendation while speaking on the solar lights provided for some communities in Biraidu District, Dekina Local Government Area.
He noted that with the provision of solar lights at Ajedimoku, Ojogba, Okate and Ajonoja communities, life in the benefitting communities have been transformed.
The Special Adviser said the Gogos, Madakis and other leaders in the area were appreciative of the gesture which is unprecedented in the political history of the area.
Hon. John Urah emphasized that the positive development further demonstrates the spirit of true representation and proof of dividends of democracy.
According to the Special Adviser on Project Monitoring, the empowerment programme carried out this week for beneficiaries across the nine local government areas of Kogi East was worth while and will remain historic.
He expressed optimism that the people will continue to stand by him in all his political aspirations as politics is for development.
Honourable John Urah Ikani assured that leaders in the area would continue to remain responsive in all ramifications, urging the people to give them their support at all times
