Muslims have been asked to practicalize the symbol of the Eid El Kabir celebration by eschewing the spirit of total submission.
The Grand Kadi of Kogi State, Hon. Justice Abdulkareem Aruwa made the disclosure in a statement, pointing out that Eid El Kabir symbolizes obedience to Allah on one hand and obedient to parents by children on the other hand.
Justice Aruwa described the sterling incident that originated Sallah festival as is covered by the Holy Quran chapter 37 verse 102-109 as unprecedented.
Justice Aruwa desclosed that the festival symbolizes the obedience to Allah’s directive by Prophet Ibrahim and obedience by the later to the former his father to do so on the other hand.
While calling on Muslims to observe the festival according to the rules, commended and thank Gov. Yahaya Bello for his tireless material support to religious organizations in the State.
Justice Aruwa called on stakeholders in the coming Governorship election to play according to the extant laws and rules, prayed for a peaceful election that would produce the best leadership that would benefit the entire Kogi State and it’s citizenry.
Justice Aruwa called on all Muslims to continue to be law abiding and to keep observing peace and peaceful coexistence, prayed Allah to accept the Hajj of Kogi Pilgrims and to return back home safely.
