His Excellency, Sen. Abubakar Abdul’aziz Yari as the Chairman Nigerian governors forum, has achieved alot which are States policies that impacted positively on the lives of Nigerians, through negotiation and amicable deliberations between the Federal Government, Judiciary, and Legislature.
At the National Assembly, as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives, His Excellency, Senator Yari served many standing and ad hock committees, either as a member or chairman.
As the Governor of Zamfara State, He contributed greatly to the development of the State owing that it’s one State with a large landmark in Nigeria.
His achievements are seen both in academic, political and health Sector amongst others.
His advocacy towards health led to the expansion of the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau and landscaping of the 100 Housing units along Kaura-Namoda road, Gusau as well as other health facilities during his tenure.
Zoning
Undeniable fact, the north-west zone deserves the seat of the Senate President considering the great impact in the last Presidential election, that birthed His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The rule of fairness, justice and ordinary decency demands in this circumstance, that the north-west, and not any other zone, deserves to be rewarded for its commitment to the APC and the Asiwaju ideals which it amply proved at the polls.
Above all, Senator Abdulaziz Yari is a good example of a consistent, dedicated, goal-getter, experienced and intellectually resourceful politician.
Obviously, His Excellency Sen A.A. Yari is fit to wear the Cap!
