Kogi State Deputy Governor, H.E Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in the State as they join other faithful the world over in celebrating the Eid-el-fitr which marks the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, Chief Onoja enjoined the faithful to use the period to offer prayers for peace, unity, prosperity, healing of the Land, and rapid development at all levels of governance in the country.
He called on the people of the State to continue to demonstrate tolerance and understanding towards one another and show compassion to those in need.
He implored the Ummah to sustain the enduring lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan and replicate them in their daily lives for the good of society, urging them to uphold the culture of sharing, love, and kindness to promote humanity.
