Traditional rulers in Bassa, Dekina,Omala local government Areas have been called upon to work in synagy for the acceleration development of the Area’s.


 

A stake holder in Bassa Local Government Area Elder John Rizama made the call while speaking with News men at Oguma headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area.

Elder Rizama said sharing of ideas of traditional rulers is sacrosanct to the peaceful coeistence of neighbouring local government Areas.

According to him traditional rulers being costodian of tradition should live examplary in maintaining good morals and defending their various domains

He Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his proactiveness in handling security challenges in the state stressing that protection of lives and property is the responsibility of Government.

Elder Rizama expressed worries on the recent invasion of herdsmen in some parts of Bassa, Omala and Dekina local government Areas as destoping and appealed to Governor Yahaya Bello to come to the urgent aid of victims.

The Stake holder appealed to the state government to create more Job opportunities to Youths to reduce numbers of graduates rooming streets of the state and the country.

Elder appealed to the state government to construct Oguma Sheria community bridge stressing that the bridge is important to the development of the area.
