The All Progressives Congress (APC) has screened Asiwaju Asiru Idris to contest the Party’s primary election for the 11th November State governorship polls.
Asiwaju Asiru is a frontline aspirant for the State gubernatorial election was screened by the committee at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Continental Hotel, Abuja on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Asiwaju Asiru Idris promised to build on the unprecedented achievements of Gov. Yahaya Bello if elected, pointing out that he has learnt the ropes under Gov. Bello who he described as a natural leader.
In a related development, Olonikadi Austin Dare, President, National Collation of Kogi west youths for the Actualization of Western Governorship 2023 has asked Gov. Yahaya Bello to make himself a generational leader by allowing power shift to Kogi West.
He urged Gov. Bello to match his words with action by ensuring that power Shift to the West.
