
The Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has organized a special prayer session, for the peaceful 2023 general election.

The Special Prayer Session drew Islamic Clerics from across the State, all converged at the JNI Secretariat Mosque, prayed for a peaceful conduct of the polls.

In a remarks, the State Chairman of JNI, Ambassador Usman Bello, represented by the State Secretary, Alhaji Isah Adeboye, said the prayers became necessary in view of the forthcoming General Election that is a few days away.

While pointing out that the prayers seeks for peace, violent free election, called on Nigerians, particularly Kogites not to despair in the midst of the current challenges.

Alhaji Adebayo notes with concern the challenges faced by Nigerians arising from the Naira change, fuel scarcity, hardship and insecurity which puts the forthcoming election as crucial, urged Nigerians to join in the hope and prayers for a peaceful general election.

The JNI Chairman called on Politicians to play by the rules, assured of sustained prayers by JNI for a peaceful polls.
