The Aare Bashorun of Ogidi Ela Kingdom, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA has sent a message of felicitations felicitations to High Chief Lanre Ipinmisho on his installation as the Elega of Ogidi land.
Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris who also doubles as the Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, described the title of Elega of Ogidi conferred on High Chief Lanre Ipinmisho as well deserved.
The Commissioner said the quality of dignitaries that attended the “Iwuye” (Coronation) of a former Director General of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), is an indication that he truly represent a cross section of people that cuts across lines.
While identifying with the legal icon on the auspicious occasion of his installation, Asiwaju Asiru Idris said the installation didn’t come as a surprise, said High Chief Lanre Ipinmisho had paid the price in service to humanity.
While he wished him success and more opportunities for greater service delivery to humanity, particularly to the Ogidi Land, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, congratulated High Chief Lanre Ipinmisho on his new status and elevation.
Recalled that the Ologidi of Ogidi, Oba Rabiu Sule, who performed the installation ceremony said the Elega Chieftaincy Title is one of the Highest Titles in the Community and Okun land as a whole.
According to him, High Chief Lanre Ipinmisho deserve the recognition and elevation in view of his moral support to the development of youths, women and the entire Community.
He noted that many youths particularly in Ogidi Community and its Environs have been taken off the street and are now gainfully employed in NDLEA and other Agencies.
