The Nigeria Union of Teachers, Lokoja Branch Election which was earlier scheduled to be conducted sometimes last year and later HIJACKED by the same APC leaders because they couldn’t find their way out.
After the whole drama, a caretaker committee was set up to over see affairs of the Union and it was recently rescheduled for the 8th December, 2022 for the conduct of the Union election. Surprisingly, again, the same political leaders came in with what some of thought was just mere political interest and not knowing that it was a perfect plan to *GANG RAPE US (LOKOJA II)*.
It may interest you all to know that the state 2Vice Chairman is from Lokoja I and the supposed election which they term selection for only God knows interests now have the office of the NUT Chairman, Deputy Chairman, 2vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and PRO I all from Lokoja I state constituency against the earlier zoning arrangements.
We are at this juncture calling on the State NUT Chairman, NUT stakeholders, Security agencies, APC stakeholders from Lokoja II, and well meaning Lokojans to Wade into this unacceptable, injustice, and unfair treatment against the Primary School Teachers in Lokoja II.
The election of the Union supposed to be purely teachers affairs where they should be allowed to choose those who will represent them and not otherwise.
