The Managing Director, Kogi Investment and Properties Limited (KIPL) Hajia Aisha Suleiman has been re-appointed for a second term of 5years.
This did not come as a surprise for anybody who has been following development in the Investment House.
Hajia Aisha Suleiman demonstrated core leadership competence, service delivery in line with the digital administration of His Excellency Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
She has also opened up the state for both local and foreign investors and investment to thrive , giving her track records of achievements and unique work ethics
“Since the inception of this administration the Governor is known for engaging credible people for the purpose of developing the State.”
Mr. Akpam, a member of the management team of KIPL spoke to our correspondent on phone and said: “for you to appreciate Gov. Yahaya Bello for appointing Hajia Aisha Suleiman as MD KIPL, you need to know the depth with which KIPL was and you need to be able to measure the success achieved so far.”
He is very optimistic that her second tenure will be a plus to the gains already recorded.
On whether the Kogi State House of Assembly ever threaten to sanction the MD for not always honouring their invitation, Mr. Akpam said even the House of Assembly wondered where that Information came from. Management and staff of KIPL who has visited the Assembly on several occasions are equally surprised.
At no time did the respected Assembly ever threatened to SANCTION the hard-working MD. He said.
“His Excellency Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor is on top of the dispute between the State and Dangote Group of Companies, very soon the matter will be resolved.”
Similarly, KIPL under Hajia Aisha Suleiman is doing her best to widen and deepen the Investment scope of the State by engaging sincere and credible investors.
“The Governor is standing firm for the State not to be short-changed in any way and the MD, staff of KIPL including the good people of the State are solidly behind him.” He observed.
“The MD is a seasoned technocrat who believes in working with relevant stakeholders for greater success and she will continue to do so in good faith.”
