In a bid to put smiles into the faces of an orphans and the less privileged in the society and as our Students resumed back to school after long vacation, Maya Care foundation embarked on the distribution of school bags, Shoes, Written materials, school uniforms, scholarship and payment of school fees to the orphans and the less Privileged across Kogi Central.
What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity, this is the reason why Maya Care foundation had decided to put smiles on the faces of the Children across Kogi Central through Education because According to Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
Maya Care foundation is a non-profit, Non-governmental and non-Partisan organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to address social, environment, education and economic challenges bedeviling the well-being of humanity with a special attention on rural areas, It is an organization aimed at communities, spreading hope and ending poverty.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hajia (Mrs.) Sefiya Abdulmumin Danga, in her address at various schools across Kogi Central appreciate Almighty Allah for given the foundation the opportunity to serve humanity this year.
She appreciate the Government of Kogi State under the Distinguished Leadership of our dear Leader whom the whole world eulogize as the white Lion for the been Education friendly Governor and the architect of Peaceful co-existence in Kogi Central and by extension Kogi State.
Hajia Sefiya in her usual philanthropic acts at various schools assured the students of her support because Education enhance the beauty of the mind by learning to see the beauty in every little thing and she further encourage the students that their destiny is too great, their assessment is too important and their time is too valuable, hence they Shouldn’t allow fear to intimidate them by any means.
She emphasized that success is a door, Education is the key and every child is a star on that note, she promised to do everything humanly possible within her reach to continue to serve humanity for our Children to become Stars in their various Choosing endeavor.
Hajia Sefiya in her benevolence pay the School fees of many students which are numerous to mention and awarded Scholarships to so many orphans across Kogi Central and some orphans from Kogi West and Kogi East that are schooling in Kogi Central.
The beneficiaries of this year back to school initiative and the Principals of various schools across Kogi Central appreciate Hajia Sefiya for this unusual kind gesture.
Mr. Yusuf Ozi Yusuf, Principal Government Science Secondary school Ebiya, Mr. Isah Rufai Otuoze, Principal L.G.E.A Demonstration Standard College Onyukoko Okene, Mr. Obaro Hassan, Principal Adavi Local Government Science Secondary School Ozuri/Oniyeka, Mr. Obajimo Peter Principal Community Secondary School Obangede and Mrs Alao H. Principal Magongo Community Secondary School Ogori/Magongo and many other School Principals Eulogize Hajia Sefiya as Mother and Pillar of an orphans and the less privileged in Kogi State.
They prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to bless her and the foundation, for her to have come to the aide of this orphans and the less privileged, God Almighty will continue to meet her needs and help will locate her where she least expected.
The foundation also extended their kind gesture to Arqam Orphans & Widows Welfare Foundation at Agassa to distribute mosquito nets, school bags, shoes and food plates to ameliorate their welfare.
