The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency have Inaugurated it first project under the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (N-Cares) Program with a call on communities by Gov. Yahaya Bello for Communities to protect and maintain infrastructure provided to them.

 

Clinic

Gov. Yahaya Bello gave the charge at the Inauguration of Ebokehi
Clinic and Borehole, held at Ebokehi premises Obeiba Ihima by the KGCSDA as facilitated by Community Development Obeiba Ihima, Okehi LGA.

Gov. Bello who was represented by the Council Chairman, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiere, used the Inauguration to assure the people of the State to the equitable distribution of projects under his administration, stressed that his administration would continue to make the well-being of the people his topmost priority.

Gov. Bello reiterated his administration’s commitment to working for the good of the people of the state, insisting that no stone would be left unturned in meeting the yearning and aspiration of the people of the state by his administration.

 

Gov. Bello described the projects Inaugurated as having direct bearings on the lives of the people, described the borehole and clinic as having the ability to translate Into the health needs and wellness of the people.

 

While pointing out that his administration would continue to make payments of counterparts funds a priority, described the KGCSDA as a vehicle that the present administration has used to drive development in communities.

 

Hon. Ohiere

Gov. Bello called on the people of the State to remain united and peaceful stressing that no meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour, expressed satisfaction with the project execution in communities by the KGCSDA.

Mallam Momoh

Gov. Bello called on the people of Ebokehi Obeiba, Ihima and the people of Okehi LGA to remain supportive of his administration, described the area as his second home, promised them more developmental projects that would have impact on there well-being.

 

In a remarks at the Commissioning, Mallam Dauda Momoh, the General Manager, Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, said the Ebokehi
Clinic and Borehole is the first to be Inaugurated under the N-Cares program, said more projects would be Inaugurated in the coming days.

 

The GM said the project Inaugurated is over N14million, expressed optimism that the agency is committed to enhancing the well-being of the people through projects that has direct bearing on the people.

 

 

Mall. Dauda said the importance of the health needs of the people through the provision of portable water and better health clinic as requested by Ebokehi Obeiba, Ihima community as very apt, assured of more project Inauguration by the agency.

 

The GM charged the benefitting community to out the projects Inaugurated into good use, ensuring that it is maintained and protected.

 

 

In there separate remarks, the Obobanyi of Ihimi, Adai Samuel Onimisi and the Ohi of Ihima, Chairman, Okehi Traditional Council, Alhaji Ahmed Ogidi, described the KGCSDA under the administration of Gov Bello as result oriented, described the projects Inaugurated as having direct bearings on the lives of the people of the Ebokehi Obeiba, Ihima, Community.

 

Similarly, a member of the Community Development Association, Audu Abu, the CPMC Chairman, Otaru Yahaya, and Abubakar Omuya, a Community Leader, lauded the giant stride achievements of the KGCSDA in making the borehole and clinic a reality, described the projects as the first to be witnessed by the Community in the last two decades.

 

They all expressed gratitude for the
Life and wealth creation support of the KGCSDA in the successful completion of the borehole and clinic, assured of the Community’s support to the present administration.
