UEC Honours Ajaokuta APC Fed. House of Reps Flagbearer with award of excellence


 

 

 

The United Evangelical Church Of Nigeria Worldwide, Ganaja community has presented an award of excellence to the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), for the 2023 general elections, for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem.

 

According to the church, the award was in recognition of of Hon. Abdulraheem’s various contributions to the church and the growth of Christianity in the area and it’s environs.

The clergy man noted that as a devoted muslim and an Islamic scholar, SEA is a lover of the church and Christianity, saying as a man whose religious faith is devoted to Islam and the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW), he has always being a friend of Christianity.

Speaking further the clergyman said “he has helped the church to grow in all the nooks and crannies of Ajaokuta LGA. He has provided Vehicles for the church, contributed in the building of the church Auditoriums.

He named other assistance of SEA to include; provision of generators for churches, empowerment of church members and widows, assisted church members during Easter and Christmas celebrations over the years,

In addition, he said SEA has has assisted in the burial of church members and above all, has always preached unity amongst the major religious groups.

“It is on this note that the United Evangelical Church Of Nigeria in Ganaja community and it’s environs deemed it fit to recognize him based on his religious tolerance and his support for the growth of the church across Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.

In an address delivered by the clergyman who led the delegation, ge offered prayers and words of encouragement for Sanni Abduleaheem for “identifying with The Household Of God.”

They further prayed that the good Lord will honour and uplift him, granting his heart desires in his future endeavour.

Responding, Barr. Sanni thanked the church and appreciated the church’s recognition of his humanitarian activities.

He further emphasized that he will continue to see Christianity and the church as the body of God just like Islam and muslims and will always stand for peaceful coexistence, justice, Love and development of tge communities irrespective of Tribal, Religious, political and clan differences.
