Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has warn members not to cause tension following the appeal court ruling on the position of Kogi West Senatorial District Zonal Chairman.
The party in a statement signed by Barr. Alfred Bello, for the Party, said it should be made very clear that the court only reverted the matter back to the party for resolution since its a party affair that can be resolved using it internal mechanism, but did not declare anybody as a winner .
The party said it will meet over the matter and take decision at the most appropriate time.
Meanwhile the party has implored all the parties involved to remain calm and not to cause any unnecessary distractions as we approach the primary and general elections.
The party emphasized that winning the forthcoming election is an utmost priority to the party and will not welcome any action that will truncate its objectives from any quarter
