The youths of Ebonyi State under the auspices of The Voice of Ebonyi has called on the Department of Social Security (DSS) and All Progressive Congress Party Executives to deny Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru clearance to run for the gubernatorial election in the State.
A press release signed by the Secretary of the body, Comrade Chima Donald, said that the position of governor should be occupied by a person of integrity who has financial disciplined cum responsibility and not Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly who has demonstrated theft and misappropriation of funds placed under his trust as a speaker of Ebonyi State.
The press release quotes “when the righteous is on the throne the people rejoice” and appealed to DSS and Party Executives to yield on the yearning of the youths not to allow an embezzler to occupy the seat of Authority in the governace of the State.
