Senior Special Assistant on MULTILATERAL DONOR AGENCY, has congratulated Muslims in the state, particularly Gov. Yahaya Bello as they celebrate Eid-El Fitr after the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his Eid-El Fitr message, Comrade Isah, aka Mario charged Muslim faithful to sustain the lessons of sacrifice, selflessness, tolerance, discipline and love learnt during the period of Ramadan, noting that the virtues are necessary in achieving peace, unity and sustainable socio-economic development in the country.
Comrade Isah says, “I felicitate with our Muslim faithful particularly Gov. Yahaya Bello on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr after completing the Ramadan fast, a major pillar of Islam.
“The Holy month of Ramadan provided a fine opportunity for our Muslim brothers and sisters to reconnect with Allah, showing love, care and compassion to one another, especially at this time when majority of citizens are experiencing challenges arising from the nation’s harsh economic realities.
“ I urge you not to forget the lessons learnt during this period. We must continue to imbibe the virtues of love, tolerance, sacrifice and charity, as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), as it is only then can we be certain of achieving peace and unity, and place the country on the path of sustainable development.”
The SSA Multilateral Donor Agency assured of his avowed commitment to using his office to attract investment and support to the State.
The SSA assured that if all hands are on deck, working collectively with Gov. Bello, assures of a better Kogi State, promised to justify the confidence reposed on him by Gov. Bello.
Comr. Mario congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and the entire Muslims in Kogi State on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of Eid El Fitr.
