Koton karfi, the seat of traditional institution of IGU kingdom on Friday hosted dignitaries and eminent personalities from far and near as the OHIMEGYE IGU and Chairman Kogi local government Council of Chiefs, Alhaji ABDULRAZAK ISAH KOTO conferred a Famous traditional Chieftaincy title of Ohinoyi -Arika of Edegaki Community on Alhaji Dantani Alhasan Ozabehe
The colourful coronation ceremony which took place at the palace of the Paramount ruler at Kotokerfi was marked under a rancour free almosphere.
Alhaji Abdulrazak Isah Koto while congratulating the beneficiary of the Igu Chieftaincy title holder urged that he should regards his elevation to his new position as the Ohinoyi of Edegaki Community as a call for useful, and effective services to his forefathers Land.
He admonished the new Chieftaincy title holder of his kingdom to work assiduously and tenaciously to sustain the momentum of peace, unity and progress currently being witnessed in Igu Kingdom.
While reacting to the honour done him by the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom ,the New Ohinoyi of Edegaki Community , Alhaji Dantani Alhasan expressed gratitude to Alhaji Abdulrazak Isah Koto and the entire people of IGU kingdom for bestowing on him the sensitive tittle.
According to him , having found him worthy to provide traditional rulership to his domain such confidence he stressed would not be taken for granted .
The newly installed Ohinoyi of Arika of Edegaki Community , Alhaji Dantani Alhasan promised to bring his vast knowledge and experience to bear in fostering peace, unity, development and progress in his domain.
He admonished his subjects and residents to cooperate with him to enable his reign fast track peace, unity and rapid development .
