A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Engr. Sunday Adebayo Babalola (FIMC, CMC), has felicitated with a stalwart of the party in the State, Otunba Abdulganiyu Olalekan Zubair, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement, Babalola said Zubair was among those at the forefront of the struggle to liberate Kwara State.
Babalola said, “I felicitate with Otunba Abdulganiyu Olalekan Zubair; a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, on Tuesday 1st February 2022.
“Ganzy, as you are fondly called, some months ago, you were at the forefront of a struggle that Liberated Kwara State. You stood your ground, committed your resources, wealth of experience, and ingenuity towards Kwara Liberation.
“You further committed yourself after you were not able to clinch the APC ticket for the Federal House of Representatives of Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero-Federal Constituency in the 2019 election in Kwara State, which clearly showed that you were committed to the liberation of our dear state and not mainly for your ambition.
“You selflessly contributed your quota towards the cause of our collective struggle and stood by our great party, APC. Otunba Ganzy, you have done your best. Posterity will be kind to you for the great role you played in the accomplished Kwara liberation struggle.
“As you attained another milestone in life today, be conscious of the fact that we are still in a massive political construction site. The rebuilding of our dear state is still under construction, so I urge you not to relent till we are done with the construction.
“As you added a year on Tuesday on the planet earth; you will continue marking the days with glad tidings and mercies.
“I pray that Almighty God will continue to shower His loving-kindness upon you and your loved ones.
“Happy birthday anniversary and many happy returns!”
