Kogi State Government reiterate it’s determination in promoting religious harmony for the continued peace in the state.


 

Governor Yahaya Bello Stated this in a message during the sixth year anniversary thanks given service of the present Administration in government House Chapel Lokoja.

 

The Governor Represented by the Deputy Chief Edward Onoja said the state is peaceful and praised religious leaders for their prayers and support so far.

 

 

According to the Governor, thanks given is imperative for recieving more from God stressing that the state will continue to recieve a boost in the Infrastructural development.

 

 

 

Governor Bello called on the people of the state to remain peaceful and enjoined religious leaders to sustain their prayers for the success of the present Administration transforming the state to greater heights.

 

He said his Administration has welcome constrictive criticism adding that the state government has remain focus in providing people driven leadership.

 

Earlier in his sermon the Kogi State chapter of the Christians Association of Nigeria Bishop John Ebunu the seventh years of the present Administration Will to more perfection and development of the state.

According to the religious leader Governor Yahaya Bello and the Deputy Chief Edward Onoja have shown capacity in the leadership of the state and Prayed God to Grant them wisdom and good health to do more for the people of the state.

In his remarks the Kogi State Head of service Hannah Odior the number seven stand for special things noting that the civil servants and the people of the state will enjoy more devidens of democracy.

Also speaking the Member Representing Omala Constituency Mr Attai Musa Congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja for changing the naratives in the Leadership of the state pointing out that the Youths are now the leaders of today.

The Law maker described thanks given and prayers as an attributes of of God and thank God for Governor Yahaya Bello for building a temple in Government House.

The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor Sunday Faleke, House of Assembly members,Head of service, Commissioners and Special Advisers, Religious leaders attended the thanks given service.
