Kogi State House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Adam Bakaso Danfulani Quincy, has admonished kogites particularly the people of Lokoja 1 Constituency to embrace peace and be their brother keepers and pray for the State and the country also Lokoja 1 Constituency at large to succeed.
The aspirant gave this advice while congratulating Muslims faithful, especially, those residing in lokoja as they celebrate would-Maulud.
He stated that only through peace and stability that lokoja can achieve sustainable development in all spheres. He said that while people were celebrating, they should remember that, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), is not only time for celebration, but also for sober reflection in our lives.
He enjoined them to pray for the administration His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of kogi state to succeed and overcome the current economic challenges facing our country, adding that the current economic challenges will not last forever.
He called for prayers for the success of our leaders for God to continue guiding, protect and give them the wisdom to steer the affairs of the national, state and Lokoja 1 Constituency and actualize the change mantra of this administration.
Hon. Adam said, his represention if elected will be aimed at repositioning economy and empowering not only lokoja 1 Constituency but Kogi State to depend less on government.
The lawmaker lauded the Executive Governor of kogi state and religious leaders in the area for bringing peace through their teaching and good activities for the development of kogi state.
On security, Adam Bakaso said that there was no better time than this spiritual occasion to offer prayers for the nation, state and Lokoja 1 Constituency in particular, even as he commended the security agencies efforts for in defeating kidnappers, adding that we are resolute about the security of lives and property which remains his priority.
