January 1st, 2022 has come and gone, but without an indelible record of achievements by FOSLA Academy, Abuja, The Attah Igala U13 Annual Football Tournament sponsored by the prestigeous Football Academy in Nigeria. With the final was played at the Idah Federal Polytechnic football field saw the Igalamela U13 boys beat Idah Local government boys by one goal to nil before a large crowd on the New year day.
The tournament was keenly contested before Attah Igala, HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa. ,Who was ablely represented by His Spokesman His Royal Highness Ibrahim Atadoga and the proprietor of FOSLA Academy ,the sponsor of the tournament , Alhaji Abudullahi Sani Lulu, Former President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF was also there himself. The DPO in charge of the ldah local government and other dignitaries were also present.
At the end Of the tournament twenty boys and girls were awarded Scholarships to study at the Academy. The Winner of the football competition Igalamela boys were presented with the trophy and Cash prizes, while the Idah Local Government boys who lost the match for the first time received cash prizes.
The Attah Igala , who presented the trophy to the winner praised the proprietor of the FOSLA Academy Alhaji Abudullahi Sani Lulu for encouraging unity in Igala Kingdom through Sports and philanthrophy gestures with Scholarships awards to the less privileged in the society.
The sponsor of the event Alhaji Abudullahi Sani Lulu of the FOSLA Academy who was visible pleased with the out come of the competition praised the Igalamela boys for lifting the trophy from Idah boys since the inception of the Attah Igala ,U13 Annual Football competition.
