Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group Chairman and Lokoja/Kogi House of Representatives Member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, MHR; has given the education fortune in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, a big boost. This is as he recently donated over 250 desks attached with chairs, to schools in Lokoja Local Government.
During the distribution, the lawmaker charged the beneficiary schools to make the best use of the materials, as under his education agenda for the constituency, he is focused on ensuring pupils and students in the constituency are able to learn under conducive learning environment.
Hon. Shaba Ibrahim who is now fondly called “Mr. Projects” by constituents and friends of the constituency, promised to continue to do more and more for the constituency to ensure the constituency stands out in everything good.
“The more we are able to keep our pupils and students in school by providing them with the materials needed for them to learn under conducive environment, the more we are able to defeat crime and criminality in the society, as these children are the leaders of tomorrow, hence it is incumbent upon us as a society to ensure we shape them rightly into being future leaders. Among these children, I see future Professors, I see future Accountants, I see future medical doctors, I see future engineers, I see even future Presidents in them.
To so shape them aright, it starts with ensuring they have friendly learning atmosphere. I will continue to do more and more to ensure the education sector in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency continues to be a force to reckon with, in terms of developing constituencies.
