Kogi PDP chieftain and 2019 Kogi PDP guber aspirant, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim has congratulated his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the success of the recently held national convention of the party.
According to the PDP stalwart, “with the consensus met ahead of the convention and with the spirit with which we went in and came out of the convention, we have sent a loud statement to all those who before now were doubting if PDP will get back to its feet ever again. The statement is loud even to the deaf; PDP is indeed back and ready to take power.
“With the success of the convention and how we have been able to move on unitedly as a party across interest lines, it is beyond doubt and it is a certainty that, by God’s grace, we will win all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria and then we will replicate same feat in Kogi State when we go in for the next Kogi guber polls, come 2023. PDP has indeed shown readiness to take over Nigeria and Kogi State, come 2023, and that excites me as a partyman, in no little way.”
