NSIP Desk Officer for Ajaokuta LG Hails Federal Government Efforts

*I Mall. Yakubu Shaidu,* the HUPCCT Desk Officer, NSIP(National Social Investment Program) Ajaokuta Chapter, wishes to hail the Federal Government’s for its unwavering determination to emancipate the vulnerable Nigerians through social investment initiatives.

All NSIP programs established by the administration of President Muhamadu Buhari, have so far had significant impact in Ajaokuta Local Government Area and indeed, the entire 774 Local Government Areas across the country.

The State NSIP focal person, Hon Prince Suleiman Onyiekehi has been so workaholic and instrumental in making sure the targeted audience for Conditional Cash Transfer scheme are reached. He understand that the project is a pathway to have direct access to the poor and vulnerable, using improved social safety net systems for employment opportunities in all Participating States and to provide Targeted Cash Transfers to the poor, vulnerable and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and this was exactly what he adopted for Ajaokuta LG which gave room for about *5205* beneficiaries for Ajaokuta Only. Kudos sir.

I wish to extol the most security conscious chairman of Ajaokuta LG, Hon Akaaba Aliyu Mustapha who has created an enabling environment for peace and orderliness to thrive, making it easy for us to control such number of people while paying them. The hitch & glitch free process is as a result of effective security architecture & welfarism provided for NSIP officials by the Hon Chairman.

Mrs Faliat Yinka, the state Head of Unit, Condition Cash Transfer deserves accolades for her effectiveness and resourcefulness. She is conscious about the fact that Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme is one of the scheme that is led by the World Bank for the purpose of Poverty Alleviation and on this notion, she has always been performing her avowed responsibilities diligently to the best interest of the people of Ajaokuta LG and Kogi State at large.

Therefore, I wish encourage all the beneficiaries to key into savings in their various groups formed to avoid exuberant expenditure of the fund

I sincerely wish to appreciate the security personnels for their utmost display of professionalism, civility and forthrightness which enabled me to succeed in coordinating the task placed on my shoulder as the HUPCCT Desk Officer for Ajaokuta Local Government.

Congratulations to all the beneficiaries.

*Mall. Yakubu Shaidu.*
*Desk Officer Ajaokuta LGA.*
