The Convener of FORUM OF KOGI SONS AND DAUGHTERS WORLDWIDE, Hon. Austine Alaba Obajere has described Alhaji Ibrahim Idris (IBRO) as a man of Destiny who is determined to take the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the promised land if Elected as the National Chairman of the party in the forthcoming National Convention slated for October, 2021.
In a Press Statement made available to our Reporter in Abuja, Hon. Austine described the decision of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris to contest for the National Chairmanship of the PDP as a DEMOCRATIC GIFT to Nigerians and lovers of Democracy who are yearning for good governance at all levels of Government in the country.
It is an incontrovertible fact that Alhaji Idris is a man of Destiny and he has demonstrated this when he came to RESCUE Kogi State from being completely run aground in 2003. He defeated the incubent Governor and brought back the state to the mainstream of National Politics.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris is physically, morally and Politically well-placed to lead the PDP to Victory in 2023.
The appellation of BABA KOGI attached to his name is borne out of his outstanding and superlative performances as the Executive Governor of Kogi State for almost Nine years. His track records of achievements remain unbeatable.
The time has come to change the narratives by putting in place, a round Peg in a round hole.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris is full of Wisdom and Experience. A very Matured and DISCIPLINED Politician. He’s widely acceptable by all. Alhaji Idris is FAVOURED BY GOD and LOVE BY THE PEOPLE.
With him as the National Chairman of PDP, the decision of the people during primary elections will be respected. There will be no swapping of people’s mandate at WADATA House; a common phenomenon with the past leadership of party.
His Chairmanship of the party will heal all wounds and bring about genuine reconciliation of all agrieved members of the party.
Without missing words, we heard it on a very good authority that Four APC governors will be defecting to PDP if Alhaji Ibrahim Idris assume Office as the National Chairman of the party.
