REMARKS BY ALHAJI SULEIMAN IBRAHIM, KOGI STATE COORDINATOR OF TEAM NEW NIGERIA (TNN) AT THE STATE EXCO MEETING OF THE TEAM ON THURSDAY, 2ND SEPTEMBER, 2021 IN LOKOJA.

COURTESIES,

I feel honoured to welcome members of the Confluence State Exco of Team New Nigeria (TNN) to its second meeting since our appointments. It is indeed a thing of joy and great recognition to be chosen as leaders of a very unique and fast growing organization like TNN in Kogi State. We are indeed grateful to the president and other leaders for finding us worthy to serve.
We have all gone through TNN’s Mission, vision and objectives and come to realize that the Team is a no holds barred one with a sincere mandate to change the narrative in all spheres, especially in moving Nigeria forward. It is in the light this therefore that members of Kogi State Exco should settle down quickly and work in line with the noble objectives of ensuring attitudinal change towards nation building and bequeathing to Nigerians, an egalitarian society, full of opportunities for all.
I must use this opportunity to welcome a distinguished son of the confluence State, Dr. Muhammed Shaibu Tetes, the National Publicity Secretary of TNN who nag for excellence brought most of us on board this ship. I must also appreciate the President, Dr. Modibo Yakubun Farakwai for reposing so much confidence in our son who is working assiduously to sustain the ideals of Team New Nigeria.
Let me quickly recall that on Thursday 19th August 2021, I represented you at meeting of TNN in Abuja. The meeting which was thought provoking also received in audience, the former Chairman of INEC, Professor, Attahiru Jegga. The meeting no doubt opened my eyes fully to the good intentions of the leadership of TNN for the Nigerian nation.
On a very sad note, I wish to announce the painful demise of the State Women Leader of TNN, Hon. Mrs Chide Yahaya Omale. She died on Saturday 21st August, 2021 following a brief illness. Shall we rise for minute silence in her honour please. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Ameen.
Finally, I wish all of us a very exciting deliberation as we strive to move TNN forward in Kogi State. Together, we can rebuild a New Nigeria of our collective dreams.
Thanks and God bless TNN.
TNN: Putting People First.
