National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for being responsive in the leadership of Kogi State.
The Assistant Secretary General, Comrade Sunday Omede gave the commendation in a statement in Lokoja.
Comrade Omede said the prompt evacuation of students of Kogi state origin from the University of Jos as a result of crises was apt and deserves commendation.
He described Governor Bello as a trust worthy leader whose love for everyone is paramount.
The students leader also praised the Governor for donating a bus to zone C of NANS comprising of North Central and North East, saying the body will reciprocate at the right time.
Comrade Omede explained that the present administration has provided a level playing ground for female participation in union affairs as evident in the emergence of females as SUG president of Kogi state University and NAKOSS President respectively.
The NANS Assistant Secretary General felicitated with the Government and people of the state on the celebration of Kogi state at thirty and called for continued prayers for the leadership of the state.
